HMV Review

Jet first started playing together in Melbourne in 2001. Nic and Chris Cester, along with childhood friend Cam Muncey and Sydney born Mark Wilson released 'Get Born' in 2003 to massive critical and commercial success after that album's lead single, 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl' became a staple of FM dials the world over.

In the time since, the band have toured the world, playing gigs with the likes of The Rolling Stones and Oasis, two of their mainstay musical (and spiritual) influences. After finishing touring at the end of 2005, the band have been locked in the studio recording and now return with a blistering brand new album 'Shine On'. The album is the follow up to their critically acclaimed four million selling debut album 'Get Born'.
