映数少ないザッパの映像作品『Dub Room Special』がDVD化！いよいよ日本盤で登場！もともと80年代にメールオーダーのみで販売されていた作品なので、今回のDVD化で初めて観る！という方も多いことでしょう。内容としては、1974年と1981年のライブ映像を中心に、楽しそうに歓談するシーンなどが挿入されるというもの。きちんとしたライヴ作品ではないものの、必見といえるクオリティー！1974年のライヴ映像には、当時の最重要メンバーとされるルース ・ アンダーウッド(perc)の演奏がフィーチャーされています。1981年のライブ映像には弟子の一人でもあるスティーヴ・ヴァイも登場！特典映像として短いドキュメンタリー「Valley Girl Documentary」も収録。

    Baby Snakes でのすごいライブがあるから、ここでの内容は今ひとつだね。ルース　アンダーウッド、ナポレオン等の７０年代の凄腕バンドのライブの映像がもっとあればね。それと、８０年代のライブと交互に映し出される意味がわからない。がっかり。

    最高♪ 日本語５段の字幕スーパーなんて今まで観たことがない。 (歌詞は全訳してないのが、僕的にはいいと思う。自分で調べれば良い。)

    前回の「ベイビー・スネイクス」は歌詞の対訳が無かったので、今回は完全日本語対訳にして貰いたいです。 カットされた部分は時代を考えれば仕方ないかも知れませんが、完全版にして欲しかった。 新たにリミックス・オーデイオを採用するとの事なので5.1ＣＨサラウンドを期待します。
