初の全米ナンバー１アルバム。コレも当時、売れましたねぇ。メガヒットした前作はオルタナティヴというジャンルを（ファッションも含め）メジャーシーンのトップにまで確立させたが、本当の意味で真価を問われたのがこの２ｎｄ。凄まじい緊迫感と迫力は前作以上。でも個人的に本作よりかは１ｓｔである前作の方が好きです。 まして一方の同類に見られがちな’グランジ’の代表格であるニルバーナやストーン テンプル パイロッツ、サウンドガーデン等とはある種対極を成しておりますね。0 people agree with this review

1stでのレビューでも書きましたが2ndが発売当初も南カリフォルニアに住んでいたので、当時の社会現象（雑誌”Time”の表紙やFMのヘビーローテーション等）、発売日には朝から行列ができ、小生も友達に店員に頼んで取り置きをして買ったのを思い出します。 当時2曲目の”Animal”の歌詞が意味不明で、いろんな憶測が飛びました。ハードであり、メロディアスな曲が多く、今だに週末等に聴きますね。0 people agree with this review
