・ジャコモ・ファッコ：協奏曲集『和声復興への考察』op.1-1〜6

1999年デジタル録音。イタリア・バロックの知られざる作曲家ファッコの「ヴァイオリン協奏曲風合奏協奏曲スタイル」による協奏曲集。ファッコはヴェネチア生まれ、２４歳以降その生涯のほとんどをスペインの宮廷作曲家として過ごした人物。彼の最も重要な作品とされるこの協奏曲集は、1716年にアムステルダムで出版、当時ヨーロッパで広く知られましたが、ヴィヴァルディの『調和の霊感』が爆発的な人気となり、残念ながら次第に忘れられてしまいました。元イタリア合奏団のグリエルモと、その息子や弟子達で構成される団体「ラルテ・デラルコ（弓の芸術）」のすがすがしい演奏を聞けば、この作曲家がヴィヴァルディに劣らぬ作曲家であることがわかります。

    ファッコって、私も初めて聴きましたが、よい意味で期待を裏切られました。他のみなさんもおっしゃってますが、パンチが利いた目の覚める演奏がイタリアンバロックらしく、すばらしいものです。ヴィヴァルディに飽きたかな。という方にファッコ。てな感じでしょうか。

    最初の音が出た時から思わず引き込まれた。切れ味の良い演奏のせいもあるのだろうが、耳に切り込んでくるような和音は、ヴィヴァルディより鮮烈だ。Faccoには他に2本のチェロの為の組曲と7声の協奏曲があるようだが、早く録音が出ることを期待する。

    ファッコの作品は今までほとんど耳にしたことがなかったが、ヴィヴァルディに劣らぬ 素晴らしい作曲家であったことをこのＣＤで知った思いがする。なにより演奏が凄い。最近、いろいろと古楽のものを耳にしているが、その中でも傑出した出来栄え。
