マーツァル＆チェコ・フィルによるブラームス交響曲第2弾が最新録音で登場！マーツァル＆チェコ・フィルのコンビによるブラームス交響曲シリーズ。チェコ・フィルによる希少ともいえるブラームス交響曲の録音の第2弾が最新録音盤によって登場です。
重量級のアンサンブルを聴かせつつ、情熱に溢れ、抒情に満ちた演奏に導くマーツァルのタクト。これまでマーラー・シリーズ、チャイコフスキー・シリーズなどで聴かせ続けてきた輝かしく熟成されたボヘミア伝統の音色がブラームスを奏でます。最近では、小林研一郎と同曲を録音（OVCL00336）したチェコ・フィルですが、それとは一味違うボヘミアの懐かしい響きが鳴り渡ります。
