Green Day New Album in May!

The world's most beloved punk band = Green Day are to put out a brand new album!



The previous title "American Idiot" exploded around the world as the biggest hit ever for Green Day and granted the band with 2 Grammy's and a record sales in their history.

The album was conveyed a strong message through rocky yet catchy tunes that are very Green Day , and the conceptual album had a dramatic climax that was impressively moving.
The brand new album "21st Century Breakdown" actually inherits that conceptual nature and structure, with 3 different parts of the album constituting one theme.
In recording the album the band members were apparently under heavy pressure of having to exceed the record sales marked by the previous big hit. However they concluded that, at the end of the day, they've got to go where they go. And that's how they came about creating this new album that again satirizes the current state of the United States of America...

The producer for the album is Butch Vig, renown for the production of Nirvana's "Nevermind" and other classic of the Grunge years, and also as an ex-drummer of Garbage. On this album the band get to play their trademark pop numbers as well as other varying type of tunes.
We now just have to be patient --- hopefully they'll come back to Japan for this album sometime in summer?! Let's keep our fingers crossed!
