ジョンフル、約4年ぶりの新作がリリース！
FugaziのIan Mackay先生やJoe Lally、そしてJosh Klinghoffer等とコラボレーションしたり、別名義では実験的な要素の強い作品を発表したりと、6タイトル連続リリースしたのも記憶に新しいJohn Frusciante。
その間にRed Hot Chili Peppersの通算6枚目のスタジオ・アルバム『Stadium Arcadium』も挟みつつ、遂に4年ぶりとなるソロ作品の最新アルバムが完成しました！
新作は、2006年12月から2008年3月という約1年3ヶ月もの時間をかけてレコーディングされ、今作も友人のJosh KlinghofferやレッチリのFleaが参加。また、Sonus Quartet、Johnny Marr、New Dimension Singersといったクリエイティヴなミュージシャンたちも多数参加しており、John自身も満足のゆく仕上がりで、とてもサイケデッリックなサウンドだとか！John曰く、「なるべく大音量で深夜の暗いリビングで聴くことをお勧めする」とも！
アルバムは、一つの物語を音楽と歌詞を通して表現しているコンセプト・アルバムで、中にはTim Buckley「Song To The Siren」のカヴァーも収録されているそうですが、その他の楽曲は全てJohnが手掛けています。
シンプルながら、とても濃厚で中毒性の高いJohn Fruscianteの世界観ですが、今作は日本盤のみ高音質CDのSHM-CD仕様！Johnの沁み〜る唄心をイイ音で堪能するといたしましょう！
