Oasis Are Finally Back with Much-Awaited New Album!!
It's been quite a while since Oasis released the best album "Stop The Clocks", a tour documentary DVD "Lord Don't Slow Me Down"and the original album "Don't Believe The Truth", but the band are finally launching their first album in 3 years, titled "Dig Out Your Soul", first in Japan on the 1st of October!!!
The new album is to be released from their own label "Big Brother Recordings". All the four members have written songs for the title, and recorded them at Abbey Road Studio. The producer is Dave Sardy, who produced the previous album. (Rumour has it that the band nicked Abbey Road Studio away from U2 who had secured it first - by paying more handsome a sum than the Irish veterans!)
On the new album, Noel is quoted to have said:
'We wanted to make music with more drive and groove that will exalt listeners to the state of trance, and not the conventional set of 1st melody, 2nd melody, choruses and so on. Wanted to make it something that draws everyone in and just "feel it"'.
The album artwork also looks totally different from the previous ones - there's something different about Oasis this time!?
