Cure Brand New Album!

Cure celebrating the 30th year of debut are launching a new album for the first time 4 years! Here's some quick report....

Apparently the new album has been developed with a view to release it on September 13th. A string of singles have been/are to be released for 4 months in a row since May, including "The Only One (Mix 13)" and "Freakshow (Mix 13)", and also the 3rd single "Sleep When I'm Dead: Mix 13" is due for release in July!

These singles and coupled tracks are NOT going to be on the new album - so they're definitive must-haves for their fans!

As for the new album, since it is going to be the 13th album for Cure it is titled "Dream Thirteen". The 13th of Sept is actually a Saturday, and though it is not customary to release anything on Saturday the band insists the new album go out on that date because it's the 13th - fair enough!

That's about all we can tell for now as it's the first announcement about the album, but we can well expect some decent, quality sound that shines of Robert Smith's undying charismatic talent!
