Verve 11年振りの復活作！

昨年奇跡的な復活を遂げた、カリスマ・ヴォーカリスト、Richard Ashcroft率いるUKの伝説的バンド、Verveのニュー・アルバム『Forth』がリリース！
1997年に発表した『Urban Hymns』（収録曲の"Bittersweet Symphony"はUKロック史に残る名曲！）が世界中で高い評価を得るも、Richard AshcroftとNick McCabe の度重なる確執により99年に解散。そこからリチャードのソロ・デビューなどを経て昨年オリジナル・メンバー4人での再結成し復活ツアーを敢行。そして噂されていた新作がこの『Forth』！
先日のSummer Sonic東京公演のラストに披露してくれた、アルバムの中で最もアッパーなナンバー"Love Is Noise"ほか全10曲を収録！（国内盤はボーナス・トラック2曲追加収録）
全体的にほどよい抜け感のあるVerveらしいサイケデリックな世界が広がっているような気がします。 今後はリチャードがソロ活動に戻るとも言われているのでこれが最後のアルバムとなるかも？とのこと。
