Beck Surprise Album Release!

Stop press! A pop icon/genius Beck is to release his new album after 2 years from the previous title "Information"!!

As has already been said in various news the new album has been produced by Danger Mouse of Gnarls Barkley, and Beck says he "has never been so focussed" in the production process before than for this new album. The comment well implies how solid the album is gonna be!

Some sources indicate Beck is trying some 60's - psychedelic sound, and that is already evident in his brand new track "Chemtrails" which was abruptly uploaded on his official website and Myspace.

For the most part of the album Beck plays acoustic guitars and drum beats, while Danger Mouse takes care of keyboards and bass (by electric piano). Joey Waronker who often appears on Beck titles is also playing drums and percussions on several of the album tracks. Also important to note is Cat Power contributing to the title with some vocals.

This is only the first announcement on the new album, and we will keep you updated with details like the album title, artwork etc upon their arrival!
