Zard to release a compilation of fans' favourites!
Another Zard collections to be released - this time a compilation of the tracks chosen by more than 500,000 fans!
"Zard Request Best - Beautiful Memory" contains all the best Zard moments and is for their fans a great remembrance of how wonderful the singer Izumi Sakai was.
The plan to release "Zard Request Best - Beautiful Memory" was announced at the memorial ceremony for the deceased singer last June, and due to the huge response from their fans the production process took far longer than initially planned. So the release is actually fairly delayed, but the amount of time dedicated was for this best album to cover what their fans want as much as possible, and to be a real Zard standard collection reflecting 16 years of the band's history.
This double-disk title is coupled with a gorgeous liner notes and discography, as well as a 7-minute special DVD featuring selected archive footage from their live show DVD "What A Beautiful Moment" released in 2007.
