相変わらずMP3時代に合わせた見事な低音質グルーブの全くない打ち込みの方がマシなドラミング… 謎の空気感を演出するシンセストリングス…… でもね、ギターは上手ですよ。本当に。 calimerobeatleさんのおっしゃるように、ジャンル＝Yngwieなのです。オーケストラの演奏を聴いて、歪みがどうのこうの言わないじゃないですか。音質もマスタリングも演奏も曲も全て込みでYngwieなのです。きっと。私は昔馴染みなので、本作を聴いて「あぁ、Yngwieさん、まだまだご健勝で」と年賀状を受け取る気分で…

アルカトラズ時代のグラハム.ボネットといい、彼も心底、ブラックモア師匠が好きなんだね（笑）名ヴォーカリスト、マーク.ボールズを切って、ジョー.リン.ターナーが加入するとは当時は夢にも思わなかった！！「ジョーは俺のソウル.メイトさ！」って言ってた蜜月の期間も今作のみと短かったが、下記レヴューでも触れられていますが、本作はインギー自身が駄作と認める作品である！「ジョーにポップバンドにされちまったよ！」なんて発言もあったみたいだけど当人が言う程、酷い作品ではないと思うし、むしろ当方には彼のカタログの中では常に上位にある素晴らしい作品である！確かに＃3などはアメリカのマーケット市場を完全に視野に入れた楽曲ではあるが、＃8から＃10の後半の楽曲の流れはインギーの素晴らしいギタープレイが堪能出来るし＃12などは彼の楽曲の中で1、2を争う美しい楽曲だと思う！アルバムカヴァーも当時はまだスリムだった頃なので彼の作品群の中でダントツでNo.1だと思う！ジョーの美声もガッツリ、アメリカンスタイルの楽曲より、メロディーに重点を置いたヨーロピアンサウンドの方がフィットすると思うなぁ～～ 88年のジャパン.ツアーで初めて生のインギーのギターサウンドに触れたのは今でも忘れられない最高の思い出である！！
