S･ﾊｳ初参加の3rdｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ。長尺の楽曲が増えたが、ﾒﾛﾃﾞｨｱｽで親しみやすい。ﾗｲﾌﾞでの定番曲を多く含むが、多くのﾗｲﾌﾞﾃｲｸに比べややこじんまりとした印象はある。ﾄﾆｰ･ｹｲのｵﾙｶﾞﾝが地味なせいか。しかしこの後の方向性を決定づけた重要作に違いない。'03年ﾘﾏｽﾀｰ盤はﾎﾞｰﾅｽﾄﾗｯｸがもの足りなく残念。

YESの諸作の中では最も「古くさい、時代を感じさせる音」だと思う。但し、当時のﾒﾝﾊﾞｰの演奏ﾃｸが急ｶｰﾌﾞで上達しつつあった時期だけに、ﾃｸを前面に押し立てた、聴き所が多い作品になっている。曲としてのまとまりの無さも目立つが、実験的な展開が、時に思わぬような効果を生んでいて大変に面白い。
