初収録曲を多数含む「新作集」です。海賊版を音源としたような曲も含まれていますが、その分、６０年代の雰囲気が伝わってきます。各CDジャケ＆ブックレットには、意外とJ・ペイジの写真が多数使われています。イチオシの写真は、CD１のジャケに写っている若きE・クラプトンの「オレを撮るんじゃねぇ！」という感じのカメラ目線ですね（笑）

本盤を元にした様々なボーナストラック付がありますが、モノラル盤も聴きたいというオタッキーな方以外はこれをお勧めします。いずれにしてもオリジナル盤自体の完成度はベック期の最高のものです。「ジェフズブギー」なんてジミヘン登場以前にこれだけのテクニックを見せ付けた曲はロックというジャンルには無かったでしょう。
