アリス.クーパーのバックバンドの一員として活躍した、キップ.ウィンガー（ｂ）とポール.テイラー（key）が当時はセッションミュージシャンだったレヴ.ビーチ（g）とディキシードレッグスのロッド.モーゲンスティンと結成した超技巧派集団の記念すべきデビュー作！とにかく楽曲が充実している！＃1、＃2、＃3、＃10、はシングルカットせれ（＃3、＃10はTOP40入り）アルバムは最終的にダブル.プラチナ（200万枚）以上の売り上げを残している！特筆すべきはギタリスト「レヴ.ビーチ」の存在である、エディー.ヴァン.ヘイレンが世に送り出したライトハンド奏法（現在で言うタッピング」を更なる高みの昇華させたのは、間違いなくレブの功績が大きいだろう！！本作はレヴのスーパープレイが満喫出来るギターアルバムでもあり、アメリカン.ハード.ロックの数ある名盤である事は疑いの余地はない！！

日本でも多くのファンを獲得した実力派バンドのセカンドアルバム。重さを感じるCan’t Get Enuffから始まり、至高のバラードMiles Away、ライブでの盛り上がりが約束されたEasy Come Easy GoやYou Are The Saint, I Am The Sinnerとファンがウィンガーに求めるサウンドを余すところなく詰め込んだ作品となっている。この作品に伴う中野サンプラザ公演は映像でも残されているので、是非彼らが何故「実力派」と称されるバンドであったかを確認してみてほしい。
