Voivod初体験の作品。実を言えば、４曲目の「Nile Song」が流れてくるまで、このﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞの方向性というか聴き所が全くつかめなず、その後は、次作と前の数作品までかなり一生懸命聴きました（＊前の方のｺﾒﾝﾄの通り、主に中期の作品を）。　Rockﾌｧﾝなら必ず覗いておいて損は無い、ｽﾘﾙに満ちた音世界です。これほど表現が困難な、しかし賞賛に値する音楽は希。これぞ唯一無二のﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞ！

ショベルカーがガリガリと地面を削りながら突き進むノイジーなサウンドはまさに唯一無二。20年以上前のアルバムなのに、今聴いても耳が削られるくらい凄まじい勢いがある（１から２の流れは最早音の拷問／笑）。まさかこのアルバムが日本発売される日が来るとは・・・時代は変わったんだなぁとつくづく思う。後追いファンの方々（俺も）はこのチャンスを逃すな！
