名盤中の名盤ですね。特に、１曲目は、超有名。耳をつんざくような超ノイジーな効果音で始まるこのアルバムを初めて聴いた時の衝撃は忘れられませんでした。音質最低だし、演奏超ヘタクソだし…しかし、それらを超越するかのような圧倒的なパフォーマンスには、目が点になりましたよ。思わず笑ってしまうほどに。そして、ハチャメチャ（ヤケクソ）に突進するスピード＆パワーが最高です。今聴けば、それほど激しくないですし、結構メロディアスに聞こえたりもします。私にとって、Venomは、マンタス・クロノス・アバドンの３人じゃなければVenomじゃないと思っています。もう３人揃う事は無いでしょうね。（某動画サイトでは見れますけど。） VenomをSHM-CDで聴けると知り、この紙ジャケ限定盤を買いました。同じ限定盤の「Welcome To Hell」もセットで買うと良いです。こちらは、SLAYERがよくカバーする「Witching Hour」が収録されています。

ＶＥＮＯＭは聴かずしてブラック／スラッシュは語れないです。特にこのアルバムは１曲目からいきなりの大作です。当時、聴いたときは衝撃が走りました。今でも当時のＬＰと現ＣＤは私のベストアルバムとしてコレクションされてます。
