British rock legends UFO will release their 22nd studio album, "Seven Deadly", on February 22, 2012. According to a press release, "Seven Deadly" is "an atmospherically dense fabric consisting of classy guitars, tight rock grooves and vocals which are unique to UFO."

かつてコンピレーション的ライヴアルバム2枚に分割収録された1974年のツインリード編成の音源はUFOファンなら誰もが聴いてみたいはず。iTunes StoreでライブEPを購入した方もおいででしょう。そんな方でもこのBOXは入手する価値があります。M1”Oh My”は随所でスクラッチ・ノイズがして残念ですが、改めてリマスターされてますからサウンド・バランスはダウンロード版よりも整ってます。 MシェンカーとPチャップマン、ともに気分屋でプレイの出来の善し悪しがはっきりしている二人ですが全編で安定した音源ばかりですし、DVD映像とアトミック・トミーMの滾るプレイもオマケ扱いは申し訳ないほど。「Misdemeanor」収録曲は録音前でアレンジが固まる前ってのもミソ。オフィシャル・ブートレグ6枚組よりもむしろお買い得指数は高いと思います。
