どうしても、人の心の憧れや綺麗な物になりがちなヒットチャートの音楽に比べ、たまの音楽は日常の何気ない感情や普段人が目にもかけないような物事を歌っているのがとても印象深く感動的だった。（カラオケで歌っても明らかに毛色の違う歌詞とサウンド！）中でもこのアルバムには「金魚鉢」や「むし」にもってかれた。特に「むし」は2011年にYoutubeに投稿された滝本晃司名義で発表されたテイクにやられた。一つの曲に2度やられた。

メンバーが脱退して、それでもたまをやるぞ！という意気込みを込めてバンド名と同名のアルバムにしたらしい。サウンド面には大した変化は無いが、なんだかマインドが優しくなった気がする。いつまでも大切に聴きたいという思いに答えてくれる一枚だ。
