台湾全体を感動させたドラマ『ラベンダー』のサウンドトラック。台湾テレビドラマ界、視聴率1位を獲得した話題のこのドラマは、泣かない回はないほどの切ないラブ・ストーリー。「あなたを待っています」・・・それがラベンダーの花言葉。重い心臓病を患い、それでもひたむきに愛を貫こうとする主人公の梁以薫（リャン・イーシュン）と彼女をめぐる二人の青年の関係は、視聴者の若者たちに「真の愛情とは何か」をストレートに問いかけ、「愛と死」を題材とした大激論を巻き起こした。ドラマ最終話放送終了後には、思いがけない結末に涙が止まらない視聴者から「こんな結末ひどい！」と監督に苦情の声があげられる一幕もあった。そして、そのドラマの中で絶妙な場面で流れる甘美なメロディーと心染みる歌詞、そして訴えかけるような主演の許紹洋（アンブロウズ・シュー）自然体の歌声に注目が集り、サントラは大ヒット。ここに日本でも人気上昇中のドラマ同様、サントラが話題になりそうだ。

    買うまでかなり悩みました 収録曲やみなさんの感想を見て､知らない曲がありそうで｡でも｢花香｣がすごく好きなので､買いました｡かなりいい歌､いい歌声です｡やはりアンブロウズ･シュ-さんの歌以外は全然知らない歌でした｡

    Lavenderのサウンドトラックという事ですが、 アンブロウズ・シューさんが歌っている曲はたったの３曲。。。 しかも、他の曲は、ドラマでも使用されていない（？）洋楽だらけで アンブロウズ・シューさんの CD（LavenderのCD）として 発売している事に疑問を感じますし、 非常に残念でした。
