本国アメリカでは絶大な人気を誇り、数々の有名バンドを抑え、多くのフェスでトリを飾っているバンド。その3作目。これ以前に2枚リリースしてますが、その2作品に見られるダークで荒削りなイメージを払拭し、今作では一回りも二回りも成長しました。 #3”Second Chance”のMVを観て一目惚れし、#6”If You Only Knew”を聴いて完璧にノックアウトされました。決して社会派バンドではないけれど、ストレートで重みのある歌詞。それを、これまたストレートに、かつ熱く、時に情緒的に歌い上げるヴォーカル。もう最高！ #1”Devour”冒頭のドラム音からとてもわくわくさせられ、ピアノとヴァイオリンによる演奏をバックにしっとりと歌い上げる#11”Call Me”に心地よくクールダウンさせられます。疾走感のあるカッコいい曲はもちろん、涙を誘うバラードもありと、非常にバランス良く構成されたアルバムです。まだ結成10年ちょっとだけど、もっとビッグになるべき存在。なってくれ～！最近のライヴでも、このアルバムから多数演ってます。ぜひ聴いてみてください。このバンドに一生ついていく！
