RCA時代の名盤を紙ジャケット＆Blu-spec CD(TM)にてリリース！

1977年発表作品。宗教色が強く、墓での打ち合いがテロ事件を連想させるとの理由で、欧米では差し替え処分となったいわくつきの作品（日本では、オリジナル・ジャケットで発売されている）。ドラマーがハーマン・ラベルに交替。翌78年にウリ・ジョン・ロートが脱退した為、ウリ在籍時最後のスタジオ・アルバムとなった。前3作からさらにスケール・アップ。メロディアスで繊細なウリのギター・プレイが展開する本作は彼の在籍時の中でも最高の作品というファンも多い。

前作「Virgin Killer」同様、アルバムジャケットが波紋を呼んだ、ウリ.ロート在籍最後のスタジオ作！！こう言っちゃなんですが、ウリ仙人のギターより俺はスコーピオンズって言ったらルドルフのリフの方に魅力を感じるんだけどなぁ～～！個人的には（Vo）のクラウス.マイネと（G）のルドルフ.シェンカーさえいればスコーピオンズとして成り立つって思っているのでギターサウンドの面では特に思い入れは無いけれど、楽曲単体で評価するならば初期の作品群の中では本作がNo.1の出来だと思う！！ファンの間ではイマイチ評判良くないけどセールス面では立派な成功作だって事を知る人は少ない！！クラウスの歌声の素晴らしさを堪能出来る彼等の裏名盤！！

国内盤が暫く市場から姿を消したのは版権移行の関係もあったのだろう。2001年ﾘﾏｽﾀｰ盤は持っているが、最新ﾘﾏｽﾀｰでｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙの墓場ｼﾞｬｹなら絶対入手しておきたいと思う。どうやらｳﾞｧｰｼﾞﾝ･ｷﾗｰは今回も残念ながら差し替えﾊﾞｰｼﾞｮﾝらしい…
