    1970年代、イエスのリック・ウェイクマンというキーボード奏者がすごいという話題で、本作発表時は壮大なスケールの傑作と評判でした。 LPレコードを円形の金属缶に入れて販売したいというアイデアもあったらしい。 壮大なスケールの企画であり、ウェイクマンのプレイもじゅうぶん楽しめます。ただ、確かに当時としてはすごいものを感じたが今聴くとサウンドは古めかしい。 企画としてロック史に名を残したい作品であると思う。

    ずっとCDを探していて、やっと買えて嬉しいです。この曲は、かつてTVでライヴが放送されたのを見ました。ウェイクマンが、巨体の周りにぐるりと並べられたキーボードを当時は珍しかったシーケンサーを駆使して同時に演奏する姿が印象的でした。ステージがスケートリンクになっていて、スモークの中をグネヴィア姫が優美に滑る姿が美しかったです。スピーカーマトリックスで再生すると、音に包まれて効果絶大です。この曲のラストは、いつ聴いても目頭が熱くなってしまいます。
