    ＣＤだけでなく、実際に何度も聴いた経験から、私はボストン響は超一流のオケだと思っています。この盤は昔からの愛聴盤。小澤の指揮は比較的安全運転だと思いますが、オケのうまさ、各楽器の音色の良さでかなり得をしている印象です。良い意味でのハッタリ、ケレンが皆無なので、「祭り」など最初はどこか物足りなく感じましたが、今は作品そのものの魅力をストレートに味わえるように感じ、手に取る機会が多いです。 ところで以前から疑問に思っていたのですが、「つよしくんさん」は、「クラシック音楽ぶった斬り」というブログをやっている和田大貴という人と同じ人ですか？ 同ブログを見ていると、「つよしくん」さんがこのＨＭＶのレビューに書いている内容とほぼ同じものが多数掲載されています。 私自身は「つよしくん」さんのレビューは、自分と好みが似ているのか共感できるものが多いです（文章の長さと言い回しのワンパターンさ・くどさには辟易するときもありますが…） 和田さんという方はたしか早稲田のフルトヴェングラー研究会にいた方です。「クラシックぶった斬り」もよく見ていますが、ＣＤを入手する数の多さとペースの早さにいつも驚いています。「つよしくん」さんにも感じますが、あれだけのペースでＣＤを買ってレビューを書ける時間があるというのは、（同じような言い回しが多いとはいえ）羨ましい限りです。

    レスピーギの代表作、ローマの松とローマの噴水は、カラフルでダイナミックなオーケストレーションで有名だが、このCDでは、アンセルメ＆スイス・ロマンド管弦楽団の名コンビの演奏で、デッカの鮮明な録音も手伝い、レスピーギのオーケストレーションがくっきりと浮かんでくる。 演奏のほうも説得力がある。 風変わりな店は、1950年録音。 こちらはロンドン交響楽団との録音で、年代を考えれば音質は良いほう。 一時期パリの喜びととも、かなりの録音があった同曲も最近はぱったり録音が途絶えたので、旧譜の再発とはいえ本盤は貴重な音源(ちなみにインターナショナルでは初CD化との事) こちらはバレエ指揮者としてのアンセルメが見れる演奏で、歌い回しが実に優雅である。
