政治腐敗、麻薬の蔓延、銃問題、虐待、生活の格差、宗教問題･･･世の中に不満を抱きつつも何とか改善しなければと考える青年ニッキーが宣教師ドクターＸに思うように操られてしまう。そして大切な人の死。最後にはドクターＸにはめられて逮捕されてしまうニッキー。当時の（今も？）アメリカで（世界中で？）表面化していた様々な問題を物語形式に作り上げたコンセプトアルバムです。他の方も書かれていますが、局面で脳裏にその映像が浮かんでくるほど緻密に作られています。犯罪ドキュメンタリ映画を観ているようで、正に音の映像化に成功しています。なぁ～て書いていると「なんか堅っ苦しそう」と敬遠する人もいるかもしれませんが、曲そのものも最初から最後まで非常に格好いいので、物語は別にして普通に聴いても十分に楽しめますよ。
