    音の数を必要最小限に絞ってグルーヴを出す、実験なのか。スカスカな音像の構築が超気持ち良い、心地良い桃源郷。ジョージ・マイケルはじめミュージシャンにショックを与えたんではなかろうか。革新的過ぎたかアルバムは一般受けはしなかったが、今聴いても新鮮な名盤で御座います。

    プリンスの数あるアルバムの中で、最も好きで、最もよく聞くアルバムです。イントロのパーカッションの音がラリってて、目眩がする。摩訶不思議なザ・レボルーションの世界が最後まで展開します。アルバムには統一感があり、隅々まで整ったアレンジが素敵。何が言いたいかというと・・・。まぁ、説明するより聞いてくれ！

    最初から最後まで完璧な流れ。美しすぎる最終曲で幕を閉じるが、そのままリピートして一曲目を聴くと、止まらなくなる。何度でも繰り返し聴ける最高の娯楽作品であり芸術作品。まさしく名盤。
