    80年代、邦楽のパンクが流行り、周りは皆聴いていたが、自分はポリスを知っていたので日本のパンクがどうしても安っぽくチャチなものにしか聞こえなかった。

    78年発表の記念すべき1st｡この冷たい質感。内に秘めた熱情という点では初期のU2に近いものがあります（勿論こちらが先ですが）｡ 1stとは思えないほどの完成度の高い楽曲と演奏のうまさには驚きます。Policeのｱﾙﾊﾞﾑの中ではもっともﾊﾟﾝｸな作品です。ｵｽｽﾒは①②③④⑥⑦⑩｡特に『Roxanne』『Can't Stand Losing You』は今聴いてもしびれるｶｯｺよさ
