    さすがにオペラの手練のティーレマンだけあって、盛り上げ方がうまいなあと感心しました。特に、それぞれの部分においてちょっとした呼吸の加減で高揚をはかる当たり、うまいなあと感心しましたね。但し全体的に活気に欠け、音色も渋いというより鈍く、いま一つインパクトが薄い気もしますね。声楽部はまあまあ。録音は良好。

    ライヴ録音だそうですが、それをさっぱり感じさせない。それは単にノイズがないとかいうことではなくて、演奏自体に活気がないということです。派手に鳴らして元気よくという路線を、大植さんは「下品」だとでも思ったのかな。結局全般に気勢の上がらない感じです。オケもコーラスも見事な「精度」は示していますけど、それが目的じゃないやね。プレヴィン＆ウィーンフィルのような「軟弱」な演奏とは違いますが、聴いていて楽しくない。あ、そう言えば、ハーディングと似ているのかな。こちらがそういう路線の先駆ということになるのでしょうが、この曲の持ち味、楽しさが消え失せたようで、個人的にはがっかりな一枚でした。
