　ヒップホップのクラシックの一つ。最近のへなちょこ ラップを聴いて「ヒップホップってこんなもんかよ」と 去ってしまう前にちゃんと聴いていただきたい一枚です。 　もうカッコよすぎです。ねっちょりライムにいかにもな デブ声がたまらんです。

'97年発表｡このｱﾙﾊﾞﾑのﾀｲﾄﾙ｡前作が｢READY TO DIE｣だったからこそのものだけれど｡今となっては別の意味を持ってしまった｡やばいよ｡ﾍﾀするとこれがｷﾞｬﾝｸﾞｽﾀ･ﾗｯﾌﾟ最後の大作ってことになるのかもしれない｡97年3月9日､衝撃の銃撃死をとげたﾋﾞｷﾞｰのﾗｽﾄ･ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑだ｡奇しくも同じく銃殺された宿敵ﾄｩﾊﾟｯｸ同様､豪華ｹﾞｽﾄをたっぷり迎えた2枚組｡当時のｱﾒﾘｶのﾎﾟｯﾌﾟ･ｼｰﾝのﾒｲﾝｽﾄﾘｰﾑど真ん中に位置したﾋｯﾌﾟﾎｯﾌﾟの中心人物……という自信を象徴するものなのだろうけれど｡その自信がやけに空虚なものにさえ思えてくる｡こんな状況を迎えるために彼らはﾋｯﾌﾟﾎｯﾌﾟという素晴らしいｽﾄﾘｰﾄ･ｶﾙﾁｬｰを成長させてきたわけじゃないはずなのに｡聴きながら､どこかくやしい思いを捨て去ることができなかった｡ 音のほうはむちゃくちゃ充実している｡ｼｮｰﾝ･ﾊﾟﾌｨ･ｺﾑｽﾞやﾅｼｰﾑ･ﾒﾘｯｸ､ｽﾃｨｰｳﾞｨｰ･Jらﾊﾞｯﾄﾞ･ﾎﾞｰｲ･ｴﾝﾀｰﾃｲﾒﾝﾄの面々はもちろん､DJﾌﾟﾚﾐｱ､ﾓﾌﾞ･ﾃﾞｨｰﾌﾟのﾊｳﾞｫｯｸ､ｲｰｼﾞｰ･ﾓｰ･ﾋﾞｰ､ﾃﾞｨｷﾞﾝ･ｲﾝ･ｻﾞ･ｸﾚｲﾂ･ｸﾙｰのﾊﾞｯｸﾜｲﾙﾄﾞ､ﾎﾞｰﾝ･ｻｸﾞｽ･ﾝ･ﾊｰﾓﾆｰ､ﾉｰﾃｨ･ﾊﾞｲ･ﾈｲﾁｬｰのｹｲ･ｼﾞｰ､ﾘﾙ･ｷﾑ､ｸﾗｰｸ･ｹﾝﾄ､112､ﾄｩ･ｼｮｰﾄ､R･ｹﾘｰ､DMC､そしてなんとなんとｳｰﾀﾝ･ｸﾗﾝのRZAなどがｹﾞｽﾄとして､あるいはﾌﾟﾛﾃﾞｭｰｻｰとして入り乱れる大傑作｡新時代のﾎﾟｯﾌﾟ･ﾌｧﾝｸの完成盤といってもいい｡この盤が幕引きになってしまわないことを心から祈っている｡
