正直言ってR＆Bは今自分の守備範囲じゃないから、ほかのユーザーの皆さんほどは詳しくはありません。ただ、なにげなくこの作品を買って、自分のipodに入れてあったのをたまたま思い出してヘッドフォンで初めて聞いたとき、とっても驚きました。クオリティがかなり高いと思います。それぞれの曲の個性が相当高いレベルで引き出されていて、一旦聞き始めると途中で止める気になれません。グルーヴ感と繊細さの両方を表現するヴォーカル。きらびやかでいて引き際を心得たサウンド。トータルとして強い引力を感じるし、しつこくない。この手のタイプの音楽は、アルバム単位で楽しむ気分になれないのが理由であまり聞かなくなってましたが、この作品とは長くつきあえそうな気がします。

輸入盤より国内盤だと思って張りきって購入したけど、ボーナストラックのリミックスはイマイチ。でもNEーYOファンは必見です！

今作は、評価がかなり分かれる結果となったが、個人的には内容が悪かったとは決して思わない。が、最大の欠点はインストの音量にあるように思う。今までの作品より若干「音楽」が大きすぎるように思う。その為に、彼の美声がかき消されてしまっている雰囲気がある。同じような違和感に陥ったリスナーが果たしているのだろうか？個人的な意見過ぎるので共感は得られないかもしれない。だが、以前の作品をもう一度聴き直して、やっぱり違和感を感じる。内容の問題ではない。レコーディングの状態やそういった環境的なものに今作は恵まれていなかったように思えてならない。以前のように、大HITといわれる楽曲がなかったのも事実だが、そういった公の評価に左右されている感じもある。なので評価点を3としたが、これはあくまでも評価しにくかった結果そういう評価点になったという感じ。
