　第8番から第23番までを収録。
　ズスケ四重奏団

1974〜78年ステレオ録音。 ゲヴァントハウス管弦楽団の第1コンサートマスターだったカール・ズスケ[1934-　]が、ベルリン国立歌劇場管弦楽団の第1コンサートマスター時代の1965年に結成したのが、この“ズスケ四重奏団”。のちにベルリン弦楽四重奏団と名を変えるこのカルテットの全盛期はやはりズスケ四重奏団の時代でしょう。
　その質実で独得の美感を湛えた魅力的な響きと、作品の造型をきっちりと描き出す堅牢な構築性は、独墺系作品の演奏に最適なバランスの良さを持ったものといえ、何度聴いても飽きのこない質実な音楽づくりが、いまだにファンが多いことを納得させてくれます。

    プロシャ王セットをレコードで持っていて、とても良かったので、購入。 この全集の演奏は、変に聴き手に媚びることがない、一見、地味な演奏だが、聴き込めば聴き込む程、その演奏の素晴らしさが解ってくる、秀逸な演奏で、録音の音質も良く、購入後　数年経った今でも、愛聴盤のひとつである。

    ＥＴＥＲＮＡから出ているズスケの初期ヴァイオリン・ソナタ集は、端正で凛としたたたずまいが好演。それがこの四重奏曲集にも反映されている。「動」のモザイクＱのものと一緒に揃えれば、2倍、（いや、それ以上、たぶん）モーツァルトが楽しめるはずです。ぜひどうぞ。
