【ストーリー】
新たな敵は、＜人類＞。

人類による非人類種への粛清が行われ、ヴァンパイアとライカン（狼族）とのハイブリッドであるマイケルとセリーンは軍に捕らえられてしまう。その後、セリーンはアンティジェンというバイオテック企業で冷凍され、12年の間“被検体2”として実験台となっていた。“被検体1”の脱走がきっかけで覚醒したセリーンは脱走し、ライカンに襲われていたイヴという少女を救う。セリーンとイヴはヴァンパイアたちが暮らす地下世界に身を寄せるが…。

    シリーズ4作目。ケイト・ベッキンセール演じる処刑人セリーンが人間に囚われ冷凍され12年後の世界の話。正直もう少し触れて欲しい箇所なもある。もうヴァンパイアの古いしきたりや儀式などは出てこない。しかし、今後のシリーズ展開もあり、ファンの期待に応える十分楽しめる内容をキープしている。『アンダーワールド』は原作がない、映画がオリジナルで、しかもシリーズ展開されている。それだけ、この『アンダーワールド』は面白いのです。今後も見逃せないシリーズ映画である。
