Milla Jovovich stars in this sci-fi adventure set in the late 21st century, a subculture of humans have emerged who have been modified genetically by a vampire-like disease (Hemophagia), giving them enhanced speed, incredible stamina and acute intelligence, and as they are set apart from "normal" and "healthy" humans, the world is pushed to the brink of worldwide civil war (a war between humans and hemophages) aimed at the destruction of the "diseased" population. In the middle of this crossed-fire is - an infected woman - Ultraviolet, who finds herself protecting a nine-year-old boy who has been marked for death by the human government as he is believed to be a threat to humans

Content Description

21世紀末、新種のウィルスが蔓延、感染した人間は超人的な知能と運動能力を身につけるが、“ファージ”と呼ばれた彼らは感染後わずか12年で命を落とす運命にあった。ファージの能力を恐れた人間たちは、彼らの根絶を企て、政府によるファージ掃討作戦が開始される。追い詰められたファージは地下組織を結成、人間政府との激しい抗争を繰り広げる。やがて政府はファージ絶滅の切り札となる最終兵器の開発に成功する。ファージ側はその情報をつかむと、最終兵器強奪のため、最強の殺し屋ヴァイオレットを送り込む。かつて、感染した夫と子どもを政府に殺され復讐に燃えるヴァイオレットは、兵器の入ったケースを難なく奪い去る。しかしその直後、彼女は最終兵器がわずか９歳の少年であることを知るのだった。

最高です！！ ＣＧも美しく、ミラのアクションもすばらしい。 デビルマンとかキャシャーンに迫るすばらしい映画です。 ＤＶＤも即購入したいですね。
