後れ馳せながら今年ブルーレイ･デビューしまして、最初に購入したのがこれでした。既にＤＶＤでも何度も観賞した映画なのですが、そのＤＶＤがレターボックス収録だったりしてややストレス感じていたのが解消され、サウンドも迫力あるものになって大満足。内容については今さら言及する必要もない大傑作である事は間違いないと言えます。かつて劇場で観た時はそのＳＦＸの凄さにひっくり返りましたが、さすがに初見の時の衝撃は薄れたものの、今でも古びた感じがしないのが素晴らしい。ロブ･ボッティンという人はやはり天才だったんですね。とにかくこの作品は『エイリアン』と並ぶＳＦ＋ホラー映画の最高峰と言えるでしょう。
