Content Description

雪の駅に人生を乗りかえて、いま、発車のベルが響く―
刑事の十余年にわたる人生の軌跡を通して男女の出会いと別れを描いた感動作！

雪の降る北海道の銭函駅で、三上英次は妻と別れた。警察官であり、オリンピック射撃選手でもある英次には、妻のたった一度の過ちも許せなかったのだ。ある日、英次の上司が凶悪犯に射殺される事件が起こった。だが、オリンピックが、目前の英次は捜査からはずされてしまう―。数年後、選手は引退したものの射撃の腕を見込まれて担当させられる非情な職務に、英次はやりきれなさを覚えるのだった。やがて、正月を故郷でと立ち寄った増毛駅で、英次は桐子という女と出会う。寂しい男と女の心に。ようやく暖かいものが通いはじめたのだが…。

雄冬出身でオリンピックなんか出たら、増毛町の人はだれでも知ってるほどの有名人なはず。桐子が三上を知らないのは設定として不自然。でも、地味にいい映画。高倉健って侮ってたけど、いい俳優なんだなと思いました。

英次と桐子の二人きりの、大晦日の夜に、桐子の店の14インチの赤いTVから流れる「舟歌」が、忘れられません。もう一度見たいと思っていました。発売が待ちどおしいです。
