Content Description

【ストーリー】
22世紀、人類は地球から遠く離れたパンドラで＜アバター計画＞に着手していた。この星の先住民ナヴィと人間のDNAを組み合わせた肉体＜アバター＞を創ることで、有毒な大気の問題をクリアし、莫大な利益をもたらす鉱物を採掘しようというのだ。この計画に参加した元兵士ジェイクは車椅子の身だったが、＜アバター＞を得て体の自由を取り戻す。パンドラの地に降り立ち、ナヴィの族長の娘ネイティリと恋に落ちるジェイク。しかし彼はパンドラの生命を脅かす任務に疑問を抱き、この星の運命を決する選択を強いられていく……。

期待が大きすぎたせいかストーリーはなんだかどこかにありそうな感じという印象がぬぐいきれませんでしたしかし面白いのは確かです。映像の美しさは言うこと無しですね

劇場では見なかったので、２Ｄだが購入してエクステンデッド・エディションを見た。確かに、ＶＦＸの映像はとてもリアルで上質に作られていて見ていて飽きない。物語の内容は、思想的なものが感じられるが、どちらかというと浅薄である。この作品は、映像技術を鑑賞する映画だろう。３Ｄは、パナソニックのバンドルの縛りが解ければ一般発売になるそうである。
