Product Description

As much an international event as a fresh release, any new work from Missy Elliott is greeted with as much avid expectation as, say, the World Series or the announcement of the Nobel Prize shortlist. Twice over. And, with the deaths of close friends Aaliyah and Lisa Lopez in the interim between this and Missy's last 'So Addictive' album, the media spotlight on the Elliott newly-slimmed countenance is just that bit brighter.
So does she fail to satisfy? No siree. If anything, this is Missydoing the Stradivarius thing, that is simply becoming better and purer as time goes by. There are plenty of guests on board in the unlikely event that Missy should flag during the proceedings but there's never any danger of that as she leaps from one densely packed rhythm and rhyme adventure to the next. Each tune is a work of art in itself ? composed of layer upon layer of finely tuned beatology and rhythms divine. Production comes from Missy and Timbaland and the album features the track 'CanYou Hear Me' a tribute to Lisa Left-Eye recorded with the remaining TLC twosome.

③④のノリが圧倒的に好き。前作よりも楽しさ増し増しで、変わらぬミッシーワールド炸裂。ただトラックの中毒性や妖しさは、少し薄れたかな。⑬には涙。

'02年発表｡ほぼﾜﾝ･ﾙｰﾌﾟで推し進む覚醒感大盛りのﾊﾞｳﾝｼｰ･ﾋﾞｰﾂに､童謡や数え歌にも通じる無気味美しいﾌｯｸが絡む､いつもどおりと言えばいつもどおりな姐御の4枚目｡しかしその､ｽﾞﾀｽﾞﾀに分断されたｸﾞﾙｰｳﾞというか､R&B特有の重量感を100%無視したﾃｨﾝﾊﾞとのｶｵｽはいよいよここに極まり､その中毒性も過去最高｡ｴﾚｸﾄﾛとかﾃｸﾉ好きにも大推薦の傑作｡ﾄﾞｰﾌﾟ!

いやはや...TIMBAとMISSYが組むと核融合以上のことが起きますなぁ。次から次へとTIMBA節が炸裂し、MISSYも情熱的に、時に感情的にFLOWと歌を織り交ぜる。もー最高に決まってるぢゃん。まぢ「萌える」わ。
