マイルスとコルトレーンの伝説の共演ライブがTCBから登場

TCBから遂にジャズの帝王マイルス・デイヴィスが登場です。名盤『カインド・オブ・ブルー』の翌年に行なわれたヨーロッパ・ツアーから、スイス・チューリッヒでの録音です。曲目はその『カインド〜』に入っていたM-4、5を中心とするプログラム。オープン・トランペットとミュート・トランペットを使い分けてダイナミックに迫るマイルス、これが初めての渡欧となったコルトレーンのエネルギッシュなプレイが興奮を誘います。マイルスのライブ盤は数え切れないほど世に出ていますが、レパートリーの充実、および演奏の密度という点において、このアルバムはトップに挙げられるべき内容といえましょう。音質もさすがTCBだけあって上等です。(jazzyell より)
