高画質のライブDVDがすばらしい。マイルズ自伝には、この時期の演奏はほとんど録音していないとあったので、これだけ状態の良いライブが残っていたことに感謝。そしてBootleg Series Vol.3には1970年を期待します。

各アルバムとももちろんリマスター版です。収録曲もリマスター版に準拠していますからタイトルによってボーナス・トラックが加えられています。留意すべきは4枚入りのPケースを使用している関係で、複数のタイトルのアルバム・ジャケットがブックレットにまとめられていること。ここは各アルバム毎にオリジナルのアルバム・ジャケットを採用してそれぞれ紙ジャケットなりPケースなりで装丁してほしかったです。 LPレコードに比べ、アルバム・ジャケットの価値や必然性が薄れたCDとはいえ、JAZZ史に名を刻むアルバムばかりですからアルバム・ジャケットが簡素化され蔑ろにされてしまうのはとても残念に思います。その点だけ星1個マイナスかな。
