リチャードロジャースのビッグバンド＋サマータイム、煙が目にしみるなどの往年のブロードウェイミュージカルを収録した２ｉｎ１のアルバム。リチャードロジャースのビッグバンドはアップテンポ、バラード調演奏されておりそれぞれの曲にルグランの解釈で演奏されている。13曲目からアルバムが変わりストリングス、コーラスが入り、ヨーロッパを想像させるブロードウェイミュージカル曲演奏が面白い。品の良いルグランが聴ける。
