ストゥージズと並んでデトロイト爆音ロックの荒ぶる血筋の源流。耳をつんざく轟音と激しくアジテートするボーカル、荒々しい演奏はまさに音の暴力。この尋常でない音圧と迫力の凄さたるや！彼らをパンクのルーツと位置付けても誰も異論はないだろう。

1stの政治的かつ扇動的な衝撃があまりにも強すぎて後の二枚が過小評価されている彼ら…ﾊﾟﾝｸの祖として崇められるのは別に構わないが、本質が硬派なﾛｯｸﾝﾛｰﾙ･ﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞである事実はしっかり認識しておくべきである。演奏力も十分にあるし楽曲もいい。ｷﾞﾀｰもなかなかいい音させているので聴き所の多いｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ。初期ｴｱﾛｽﾐｽのｻｳﾝﾄﾞにも少なからず影響を与えただろう。
