1980年代から名作を連発し名実共にトップギタリストとし君臨してきた西海岸、東海岸をそれぞれ代表するギタリスト、リー・リトナー、マイク・スターン。フュージョン・ギターを代表する2人の共演ライヴは初めてだが、更にハイパー・ドラマー、サイモン・フィリップスと多弦ベーシスト、メルヴィン・デイヴィス、キーボードにマイルスバンド最後のキーボーディスト、ジョン・ビーズリーと完璧なリズム・セクションにて行った2011年2月にブルーノート東京のライヴを収録。

ジャズ、フュージョン、ロック、ファンキーとあらゆる要素を包括したこのメンバーでしか出し得ないスーパー・プレイの数々を余す所なくシューティングした映像は、比類なきクオリティ。バンド名にもなっているジェフ・ベック不朽の名曲「フリーウェイ・ジャム」で幕を開けるギター・バトル。そしてサイモン・フィリップスのプレイを特典マルチアングル映像として収録。このスーパー・セッションが行われることになった経緯などをリー・リトナー、マイク・スターン他全メンバーが語ったスペシャル・インタビュー映像も収録。(字幕付き)
