The Xanadu Master Edition Series - all newly remastered recordings from the out-of-print jazz label of the 70s and 80s. There will be 25 albums in total over next 18 months. Picture of Heath features the great bebop tenor manJimmy Heath fronting a stellar quartet with Barry Harris on piano, Sam Jones on bass and Billy Higgins on drums. Album features five Heath originals and a rendition of Body and Soul.

ジミー・ヒースのOne Hornによるクアルテットの最高傑作！これ以上ないメンバーで全員が一丸となった演奏とはこのことです。BarryもSam JonesもHigginsもBest　playでSwing しまくり。こんなにきれいでビッグな音で５０年以上も演奏してきてる人（しかもそれだけじゃなく、作曲、アレンジも超一流）は他のテナーでいるとは思いません。今生きているテナーでＮＯ.1!彼が参加しているレコードはすべて成功していることを誰も気がつかないかぎり、ジャズの世界の芸能界化はどんどんひどくなるでしょう。
