それまでの作品に比べると、ポール・カントナーが前面に出ている分曲の造りがかっちりした印象。曲順構成もメリハリが効いている。いろんな意味で分かりやすいアルバムなので、最初に聴く一枚としては無数にある編集盤やいつも再発されている｢シュールレアリスティック・ピロー｣よりずっといいと思う。

俺はドイツのヒッピー・パンクス、クラウス・ドルディンガー率いるNEU!のほうが好きかな（笑）。余談はともかくとして本作に盛られたストレートなロックの乗り、シアトリカルでリラクシン’なアットホーム感覚を耳にするとまだ俺が小学生の頃風呂敷露天商を営んでいた新宿/川越ヒッピーの残党が思い出されるなァ、いまごろみんなどうしているかい...。
