Product Description

Rising through that ranks of Londons Dubstep (a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South East London), James Blake started off as a DJ in various clubs. Influenced by the likes of DAngelo and Stevie Wonder along with Burial and Mount Kimbie, James Blake is known for injecting some soul into the genre of dubstep and he does just that on his self-titled debut.

cmykに圧倒されて気になっていたjames blake. ただ、そのテンションで聴いたら逆に圧倒されました。ライブも見ましたが、なかなかアルバムの再現は難しいのか、音はスカスカな印象です。 自宅で良い音響で聴くのをおすすめする一枚です。

２０１１年の音楽シーンを騒がせた一人。音をひとつひとつ積み重ねて構築された閉塞感のあるサウンドはゆっくりと深海に引き込まれていくような感覚に陥る。フジロックと言う日常とかけ離れた異空間で聴く、james blakeの異次元のサウンドはどのようなケミストリーを起こすのか。

１０回以上聞いたけど、このアルバムの良さはわからない。 例えが適切かわからないけれどトーキングヘッズのリメイン-ライトが 好きでない人にはきついかも。
