    ロック史上の最高傑作と言っても過言ではない「クリムゾン・キングの宮殿」にコンポーザー、マルチ・プレイヤーとして大きく貢献し、伝説のミュージシャンとなった男の久々のアルバム。クリムゾンをオマージュする作品もあるが、イメージ的には「マクドナルド＆ジャイルズ」に近い牧歌的な雰囲気、或いは内省的でマイナーな色合いが支配する楽曲が並ぶ。豪華なゲスト・ヴォーカル陣が熱唱する楽曲の合い間に挿入されるインスト曲が「パット・メセニー」を想起させて癒しの空間ヘ導く静と動の手法をはじめ、イアンの音楽的な造詣の深さ、間口の広さを活かした多彩かつ異次元的なプロダクションは流石としか言いようがない。個人的には、ルー・グラムとの久々の共演⑧が嬉しい。「アージェント」のパロディ的な作品だが、彼がフォリナーに在籍していたという証がこのファリナー的な作品にはある。肩の力を抜いてこの伝説の男の作品を一人でも多くのファンに味わって欲しい。ドライヴしているように様々な情景が音楽を聴いてるだけで見えてくる。天才だ。
