    前半のロスタンは自作曲が中心。ジャンゴと同期の、ひとつ古い世代の人だから曲想はたしかにオールドファッションでも、演奏はむしろ洗練されている。意外にクール的な抽象さがあってとても印象深い。後半のムニエはモダン期の人といってよさそう。取り上げられた曲は当時お馴染みのスタンダードばかりだが、今になって聴けばなぜか演奏（アドリブ）に古めかしさが感じられる。前者ロスタンの粋なことといったら！マルシェルソラルとの相性もよい。
