伝説のストーナーバンドSLEEPからの派生組。重さより、とにかく音のウルサさにこだわったかのような爆裂轟音バンドで、呪文のようなボーカルスタイルも音にぴったりハマっている。こんなにウルサいのに実はトリオだったりするところも含め、新世代のモーターヘッドだな、こりゃ。まさに轟音で聴きたい一枚。

Matt Pikeって、もともとリフの組み立てもうまいし、メロディのセンスもあるので、今回のアルバムも曲のクオリティは全体に高くて高品質の漢メタル、怒メタルなのは間違いない。このバンドにはストナー/ドゥームという言葉はもう似合わないでしょう。
