私もこの来日公演に足を運びました。見た感じは、VHS や LD でも在りましたが、何かイーグルスとはチョッと違ったおしゃれな感じのステージでした。音的にも Strange Weather がそんな感じで、他のソロアルバムと違い小奇麗に纏まっていました。ここでも、イーグルスのものも含め、そういう感じの演奏に、 Strange Weather よりも、なっています。ですから、イーグルスのロックな感じは薄まっていますので、その辺を期待して聴くと、微妙かもしれません。それでも、14 でのフライの歌唱、はオリジナルのヘンリーのものに劣るものではなく、バンドの演奏を含め、大変素晴らしいです。14 と共にこのアルバムで最も良いのが 4 です。他の曲も、決して悪いものではないので、イーグルス、フライのファンならばお薦めです。ただ、これをイーグルス、フライの入門編として聴こうと言うのであれば、他のものを薦めたいです。何度も聴き込んだ私の中では星四つなのですが、そういう意味で星三つです。
